Photovoltaics – a path towards energy independence

Our photovoltaic plant

It is not just under the roofs of vis vitalis that work is being done diligently, but on the rooftop, too. We are proud of our latest development in our commitment to climate-neutral production and energy independence. With the installation of the photovoltaic system on our roof, we are able to produce about 180,000 kWh of green electricity per year. The 425 modules currently installed on our roofs (by 2024 there will be a total of 685 modules) at present generate a total output of about 161.5 kWp, which corresponds to the average annual consumption of 41 Austrian households. The plant thus covers about one third of vis vitalis’ energy demand and brings us a step closer to our goal of complete energy independence and carbon neutrality.
